Yasa Boutique Hotel

Yasa is a relaxed boutique hotel in Nungwi, on Zanzibar’s northern tip, set around a tropical garden and a large swimming pool that slopes gently from a kids’ shallow end to 3.2 metres deep. Nungwi beach is a three-minute ride away and Kendwa about thirteen minutes, and Yasa runs a free beach shuttle every day from 07:00 to 17:00.

The thatched YASA restaurant serves fresh fusion cooking that mixes international dishes with African flavours, from breakfast through to dinner, and the lounge and bar are made for long evenings with a cocktail. Guests can join yoga sessions in the garden, open-air cinema nights and Afro dance classes, and the hotel can arrange diving lessons with local schools in the pool.
