BookingMate is a small, independent travel company with a simple idea: help travellers book places to stay that are worth the trip, at honest prices, with real people behind every booking.
What we do
We hand-pick hotels, lodges, guesthouses and homes, starting with Zanzibar and growing across Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Every listing is checked against the property’s own website, with its real photos, room details and policies, so what you see is what you get.
When you book, we confirm your stay directly with the hotel and keep you posted by email. You can pay by bank transfer, with your BookingMate wallet balance, or simply pay the property during your stay – no card details needed on our site.
Our travel mates
Beyond hotels, our team can arrange airport transfers, car hire and activities on request, and our Travel Mate stories share what we love about each destination.
