Kendwa Rocks is a lively beachfront hotel on Kendwa beach, best known for its monthly Full Moon Party but equally suited to a laid-back beach holiday, with palm trees swaying over the sunbeds and bungalows set in tropical gardens.
Rooms range from simple Standard rooms with furniture made from reclaimed dhow wood, through individually designed Deluxe rooms and a collection of Theme rooms – coral-stone bungalows, beach houses and historical suites filled with Zanzibari antiques – up to Pool Bungalows with private sun decks and dipping pools, including two family-size bungalows that sleep five. Breakfast is included in every rate.
The hotel has several restaurants and bars right on the sand, hosts events and meetings, and runs sustainability initiatives to protect its stretch of coast.
